Gaspard Ulliel was a talented French actor and model who was known for having portrayed the young Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising (2007), fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent in the biopic Saint Laurent (2014), and for being the face of Chanel men's fragrance Bleu de Chanel for twelve years. He also voiced Jack Frost in the French version of Rise of the Guardians (2012), and portrayed Anton Mogart in the Disney+ miniseries Moon Knight (2022). Ulliel began acting at age 12. He won two Cesars, France's equivalent to the Oscars. In 2005 he won the Most Promising Actor Cesar for A Very Long Engagement. Twelve years later he won the Best Actor Cesar for Juste La Fin Du Monde (It's Only The End of the World), opposite Marion Cotillard and Lea Seydoux. He died tragically while on holiday with friends at the La Rosière resort in the Savoie region of the French Alps. The accident occurred in January 2022 when he collided with another skier on a blue ski run. Interesting to note that witnesses who saw the collision commented that neither skier collided very hard and the fall taken by Ulliel was routine to anyone who has skied on a blue run before.
