American stand-up comedian and actor best known for his Pentecostal preacher scream, and roles in the popular films 'Caddyshack' and 'Back to School'. Sam Kinison struggled with cocaine addiction, and having been clean 2 months and returning from his honeymoon, he was killed in a two-car head-on accident with a drunk driver.

Although never publicly named in the press after he killed Sam Kinison, Troy Louis Pierson was sentenced to a year of probation, his license was suspended two years, and he was ordered to serve 300 hours of community service for  drunk driving and vehicular manslaughter.

Just so we are clear here … Troy Louis Pierson spent only two days in county jail before posting bail for killing Sam Kinison and injuring his wife while driving drunk.

Oh, did we mention that the man who killed Sam Kinison, Troy Louis Pierson, was selling autograph photos and bragging about his misadventure shortly after killing Sam Kinison?
