With bristling chops and fiery phrasing, guitarist and bona fide Texas blues legend Stevie Ray Vaughan did not so much reinvent the blues as add a renewed passion. A master of fills, intros and imaginative solos, he created piercing rhythms and riffs that were equal parts blues, rock and pure showmanship.

Fun Fact

At the height of Stevie’s drug addiction he would rarely bath and the road crew began to refer to him as “Stinky Ray Vaughan.”
