Frank Sheeran
Fun Facts
The first words Jimmy Hoffa said to Frank Sheeran were: “I heard you paint houses.” This wasn’t a reference to Sheeran’s decorating skills but a euphemism for killing people – “painting the house” referred to splattering blood over the floors and walls in violent executions.
With regards to the execution of Joey Gallo at Umberto’s Clam House, After the shooting of mob boss Joseph Columbo, the new boss recruited Colombo associate Philip Gambino, Genovese soldier Carmine “Sonny Pinto” DiBiase, and two other men – reputedly members of the Patriarca family – to successfully kill Joey Gallo. Frank Sheeran was not involved.
An associate of the Columbo crime family once said of Frank Sheeran: “The only thing Frank ever killed was a bottle of red wine.”
