Don Knott's half-century career included seven TV series and more than 25 films, but it was The Andy Griffith Show that brought him TV immortality and five Emmies. His early classic films include The Incredible Mr. Limpet (1964), The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (1966) and The Shakiest Gun in the West (1968). Moving over to television in addition to his Barney Fife character, Knotts also enjoyed popularity on The Red Skelton Show, Matlock, Three's Company and dozens of special appearances. Known as one of the most loved men in show business, a statue honoring Knotts was unveiled on July 23, 2016, in front of The Metropolitan Theatre on High Street in his hometown of Morgantown, West Virginia.

As you enter the cemetery drive straight ahead and park near the chapel. Turn back around and walk towards the entrance, across the lawn to the small lawn section to the right of the entrance and in front of the Armand Hammer private mausoleum on the road is the grave of comedian Don Knotts.
