Mary Tyler Moore was an American actress, producer, and all around great human being. She is best known for her roles on The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961–1966) and The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970–1977), which "helped define a new vision of American womanhood." Moore won seven Primetime Emmy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards. She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in Ordinary People. In addition to her personal acting career, in 1969, Moore and her husband Grant Tinker founded MTM Enterprises, Inc. which produced The Mary Tyler Moore Show and other successful television shows and films. MTM Enterprises produced American sitcoms and drama television series such as Rhoda, Lou Grant and Phyllis (all spin-offs from The Mary Tyler Moore Show), The Bob Newhart Show, The Texas Wheelers, The Bob Crane Show, Three for the Road, The Tony Randall Show, WKRP in Cincinnati, The White Shadow, Friends and Lovers, St. Elsewhere, Newhart, and Hill Street Blues, and was later sold to Television South. All in, all of the MTM Enterprise shows won a total of 80 Emmy's including 29 just for The Mary Tyler Moore Show alone.

As you enter the cemetery off Cemetery Road drive straight ahead following the road so the receiving vault is just off to your right and stay to the left at the fork. As you continue to drive Section A will be on your left, Section B will be on your right, Section C will be on your left and the very next section on your left will be Section D. Drive past the stone stairs and continue to the first opening in the grass when the low stone border ends next to the Peck Family monument. Walk 150 feet into the section and the supremely talented actress Mary Tyler Moore will be on your right.
